Position Overview:

As a Journeyman at Jevco, you will play a crucial role in overseeing projects, providing guidance to electrical apprentices, and ensuring the successful completion of electrical installations. We offer competitive pay, a company truck, overtime opportunities, health insurance and paid vacation after 90 days. Additionally, this position includes a tool purchase program and completion bonuses based on performance.

Qualifications:

The right candidate will have:

·         Minimum 5 years of commercial experience.

·         Proficiency in bending and installing EMT conduit, pulling branch and feeder wire, making up panels, and installing light fixtures.

·         Ability to trouble shoot and understand circuits, dimmer systems, lighting controls, and interpret blueprints.

·         Strong leadership skills with the ability to provide direction and constructive feedback.

·         Effective time management and adaptation.

·         Strong problem-solving skills to help quickly identify problems and implement effective solutions.

·         Dependable with a commitment to completing projects from start to finish.

·         Must have own hand tools.

Responsibilities:

·         Supervise projects and provide guidance to electrical apprentices.

·         Upgrade systems, execute installations, and maintenance and repair of existing electrical systems.

·         Collaborate with other professionals to coordinate electrical installations within the project scope.

·         Trouble shoot, identify, and repair electrical issues.

·         Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any changes made to a project.

·         Prioritize safety and ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes.
