Overview: MRO Supervisor oversees the management of Non-Production Materials (NPM) inventory, ensuring optimal levels, reducing float, and increasing turnover. This role involves collaboration with Maintenance, Controllers Office, and third-party providers to handle excess, obsolete, or non-conforming inventory. The Supervisor also supports World Class Manufacturing (WCM) initiatives through housekeeping reviews, Kaizen events, and participation in WCM Pillar committees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor NPM inventory daily, weekly, monthly, and annually; update activity classes as needed.
  • Dispose of excess and obsolete materials in coordination with Maintenance and Controllers Office.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and negative balances.
  • Process inter-plant transfers and shipments.
  • Review and confirm invoices for receipt of materials.
  • Log non-conformances and pursue resolutions with suppliers.
  • Manage Tool Store Requests (TSRs) and ensure accurate ordering based on usage/activity.
  • Train plant personnel on creating Request for Materials (RFMs) and TSRs.
  • Support Order Processing & Control (OPC) on ordering and follow-up issues.
  • Conduct cycle counts to support monthly audits; address count variances with corrective actions.
  • Provide NPIC system access as required.

Material Dispensed: Repair tools, machine parts, safety items, drills, diamond tip tooling, batteries, etc.

Hours and Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, 7am - 3:30pm. Occasional Sundays or holidays may be required based on plant operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree completed.
  • Minimum 2 years of warehouse supervisory experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Experience in a union environment preferred.
