We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our growing Owner's Representative Project Manager/Program Management firm. Candidates with multi/small retail ground up experience encouraged to apply. You will be responsible for management of construction projects including, but not limited to multi unit ground up facilities. This includes overseeing the project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation of the project. 

Salary commensurate with experience

Responsibilities:

  • Create valuable team environment resources for assigned projects
  • Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to completion
  • Allocate time over multiple projects simultaneously
  • Participate in the selection of the team
  • Oversee contractors, architects, engineers, project inspectors, city and county officials
  • Negotiate with contractors, designers, and vendors on behalf of ownership
  • Ability to travel 30% or more
  • Working remotely from a home office

Qualifications:

  • Maintain high standards of workmanship
  • Self-starter and quick thinker
  • BA/BS degree preferred in design, construction or engineering or experience in construction management
  • Three+ years’ experience in capital project management and/or general construction field.
  • Ability to work remote
  • Competent in Microsoft word, Excel, adobe acrobat or Bluebeam
  • Familiarity with construction management software
  • Ability to create budgets and cost analysis
  • Ability to create and modify schedules
  • Strong leadership qualities, strong negotiation skills and a team player
  • Ability to speak clearly and effectively with outside vendors and team members within the organization
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and be very detail oriented
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at one time
  • Ability to work with others to achieve departmental and company goals and objectives
  • Dedicated to achieve end goal
