Position: Residential Service Plumber (Full Time)

Location: 2198 W. Highland Rd. Howell, MI 48843

About Us: J. Mills Plumbing is a growing plumbing company dedicated to providing high-quality services to our residential clients. We’re looking for an experienced plumber to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Installation:

    • Read blueprints and drawings to understand or plan the layout of plumbing, waste disposal, and water supply systems.
    • Cut, assemble, and install pipes and tubes, paying attention to existing infrastructure (e.g., electrical wiring).
    • Install and maintain water supply systems.

  2. Repair and Maintenance:

    • Locate and repair issues with water supply lines (e.g., leaks).
    • Repair or replace broken drainage lines, clogged drains, faucets, and other fixtures.
    • Replace Water Heaters, Sump Pumps, Etc.
    • Install waste disposal and sanitary systems with well-functioning DWV (drainage, waste, and vent) systems.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid Journey plumbing license or able to obtain with 1 year.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a residential service plumber.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Able to perform basic mathematical calculations and convert measurements.
  • Physically capable of handling the demands of the job.
  • Able to lift 75+ lbs.
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
