Warehouse Associate

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team This position will entail shipping operations from receiving purchase orders to ordering equipment and inventory of materials to meet production and customer requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all stock is accounted for, processed, and organized to meet company standards.
  • Verify quantity and quality of incoming products. Inspection of products for defects and damage.
  • Loading packages onto delivery trucks for shipping.
  • Create and maintain tracking reports coming in and going out of the department.
  • Price shop, buyer of goods and services for cost effectiveness.
  • Analyze the number of materials based on the future production needs, communicate with other parties to secure the correct amount needed.
  • Maintain the overall cleanliness, safety, and security of the receiving and storage distribution operations.
  • Responsible for company vehicles to ensure proper maintenance as well as tools maintained in the vehicles.
  • Performs other duties assigned by management.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have 3-5 years warehouse shipping, receiving, and oversight of inventory.
  • Experience in barcode scanner functions.
  • Ability to price shop for the best quality and cost effectiveness of materials.
  • Detailed oriented and organizational skills necessary.
  • Must be forklift certified.
  • Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance.
  • Must have a valid and insurable driver’s license to operate a company vehicle.
  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Proficient computer skills such as Outlook, Excel, Word. Wasp Inventory System a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and move material up to 100 pounds.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Work Schedule Range: 7am to 5pm

  • Overtime as needed

Work Location:

  • Onsite, not remote.
