We are currently hiring for the following positions:

Guest Service Attendant ($15+ per hour) - Positions available are for: 6am-2:30pm or 2pm -10:30pm Monday through Sunday

Our Guest Service Attendant's primary focus is keeping our canine and feline guests safe, happy and comfortable. Please note that this is a VERY busy, VERY physical job Also we are looking for people who have had PROFESSIONAL animal experience working in the animal business.

  • Responsibilities include all aspects of animal care and light facility upkeep, including:
  • Housekeeping (cleaning and sanitizing animal areas, doing laundry)
  • Room service (preparing and feeding meals)
  • Guest enrichment (exercise walks, play and cuddle sessions)
  • Supervising and interacting with canine guests outdoors during walks, playtimes, and water park sessions
  • Assisting with the supervision of dogs in doggie day care
  • Special care and observation (noting any irregularities in an animal's personality or condition)
  • Salon services (bathing, brushing and nail trims)
  • Interacting with clients during check-in and check-out times
  • Light maintenance (changing light bulbs and air filters, sweeping walkways, etc.)
  • Other duties not specified above, as required by management

Additional Requirements:

Candidates for ALL positions must:

  • have a love of, enthusiasm for, and comfort around animals of all species and breeds
  • possess excellent self-motivation skills
  • be calm and poised during stressful moments
  • be capable of working at a rapid pace, with appropriate care and accuracy
  • demonstrate a high degree of urgency
  • be safety-conscious
  • have a neat appearance
  • possess good communication skills
  • be able to read and follow instructions and enter information into animal records,
  • including into a computer system
  • perform tasks with a high degree of accuracy
  • be a team player, willing to contribute wherever needed
  • have a stable work history
  • be dependable and timely
  • be willing to work on weekends and major holidays, our peak periods for business.

Additional requirements for Guest Service Attendants:

  • At least 6 months of animal care work or volunteer experience (pet resort, animal shelter, veterinary clinic or grooming salon) is required.
  • Must be very detail-oriented and be capable of following specific and sometimes complex instructions regarding the care of each animal guest; Job involves standing and walking 90% of the time, as well as regular bending; ability to lift 60 pounds safely, to waist height, is required.
  • Outdoor work walking dogs, supervising water park play sessions, and keeping play and exercise yards clean, is required approximately 40% of the time.

There is very little down-time in this job -- requires someone who is comfortable with and capable of continuous levels of physical activity.
