Warehouse Operation Lead Job Summary

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Lead to oversee our warehouse operations. You will schedule warehouse staff and delegate tasks to ensure efficient receiving and shipment of goods. When shipments arrive or before deliveries leave the warehouse, you will check inventory with orders to check that the shipment is complete. It will be vital for you to input inventory and maintain current records into our database. Our ideal candidate has at least three years of experience in a warehouse, with at least one year in a supervisory role.

Warehouse Operation Lead Duties and Responsibilities

• · Managed day-to-day activities for a 24/6 warehouses with >30,000 square foot facility with $10M+ in product, staff of 10+ associates and including inventory placement, stock rotation and pick-pack operations.
• · Fulfill products to customers on the online marketplaces across the continental America, Coordinate and oversee daily workflows between customers and warehouse floor including space planning, receiving, packaging, and shipping.
• · Responsible for building maintenance, warehouse equipment, racking and grounds
• · Worked closely with Customer service & Commercial leads to ensure customer satisfaction and profitable operations of the facility along with loss prevention & security.
• · Managed $6M+ in on-hand inventory and improve on-hand inventory accuracy to 99.5% by conducting physical inventories and reconciling variances.
• · Responsible for recruitment and retention of all warehouse personnel. Administering training performance reviews and administration of wages & salaries for warehouse personnel in accordance with company policies and disciplinary/corrective actions.
• · Implemented safety programs to ensure a safe work environment in accordance personnel e with OSHA and company standards.
• · Work with Operations lead to develop, maintain, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures
• · Ensure the ERP housing the inventory management system for shipping, receiving and placement of products is updated real-time.

Warehouse Operation Lead Requirements & Qualifications

• · High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
• · 3+ years of experience in a warehouse
• · Familiarity with inventory control and management
• · Knowledge of proper safety procedures, equipment maintenance, and warehouse best practices
• · Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to manage and develop a team
• · Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
• · Flexible schedule
