 Location: Rosedale, NY & Brooklyn, NY We are seeking a Produce Manager to join our team to oversee the Produce Department Operations at two of our supermarkets located in Rosedale, NY and in Brooklyn, NY. The Produce Manager will play a critical role in our business, responsible for managing inventory, supervising staff, maintaining product quality, and driving sales in both locations. Responsibilities:·      Monitor and maintain inventory consistent with our store brand, product selection policies and customer preferences.·      Ensures quality and freshness of all produce and suggest changes to inventory, and pricing.·      Create attractive displays, signage, and promotions to highlight featured items, seasonal offerings, and special deals.·      Develop merchandising strategies to optimize product visibility and drive sales.·      Controls department expenses and improve operations efficiencies, by controlling labor costs and by reducing losses.·      Address customer inquiries requests in a timely manner and professionally.·      Train and supervise produce department staff and foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork and collaboration among staff.·      Other duties as assigned. Qualifications:·      Strong knowledge of fresh produce varieties, sourcing, handling, and merchandising.·      2-3 years’ experience as a Produce Manager or similar role.·      Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.·      Ability to effectively manage staff, prioritize tasks, and delegate responsibilities.·      Familiarity with inventory management systems and procedures.·      Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.·      Excellent verbal and written communication skills.·      Willingness to learn and grow.·      Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. APPLICATION PROCEDURETo apply, send your resume and salary requirements: Matt.Amore@asghq.com ·      Please include the job title as the subject of the email.·      The hiring range for this position is between $65,000 and $70,000 per annum.
