Schedule: Monday thru Friday, 8am to 5pm

**Location:** Eureka, California

**Job Description:**
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Office Manager to join our team at Interstate Batteries of Eureka. As the Office Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our office. You will be responsible for overseeing administrative tasks, managing office supplies, coordinating schedules, and providing support to the management team. Training provided

**Responsibilities:**
- Manage day-to-day administrative tasks, including answering phones, responding to emails, and handling correspondence.
- Maintain office filing systems and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Coordinate office activities and schedules, including meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Order and maintain office supplies and equipment.
- Assist with payroll processing and employee scheduling.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Provide administrative support to the management team as needed.
- Conduct weekly inventory checks and end-of-month inventory reconciliation.
- Manage accounts payable, ensuring invoices are processed and paid on time.
- Close out store operations at the end of each day.
- Schedule maintenance for company trucks and vehicles.
- Order supplies and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock.

**Requirements:**
- Proven experience as an office manager or administrative assistant.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles is a plus.
- Experience in the automotive or commercial battery industry preferred.
