HVAC Piping Installer

  • Competitive pay $17-$25

Our client is a full-service HVAC company specializing in designing, constructing, and installing industrial and commercial air conditioning equipment in the Houston and surrounding areas.

 

As an HVAC Piping Installer, you play a pivotal role in the installation, maintenance, and optimization of various piping systems, including gas, steam, HVAC, and refrigeration.

 

What You Will Do:

  • Install and maintain diverse piping systems, including gas, steam, HVAC systems, and refrigeration (copper), adhering to project specifications
  • Read and interpret blueprints to determine piping system layout and requirements
  • Verify compliance and functionality of installations, making necessary corrections
  • Perform preventative maintenance and testing on plumbing and mechanical systems
  • Utilize pipefitting techniques such as brazing, soldering, pressing, and threading
  • Conduct pressure tests and inspections to ensure the safety of piping systems

 

What You Need:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3-5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Strong understanding of mechanical concepts and principles
  • Cleanliness and organization following the 5S methodology
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings
