Position Overview:

We are seeking passionate and dedicated Assistant Teachers to join our team. Assistant Teachers will work collaboratively to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for children. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young learners while gaining valuable experience in early childhood education.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the lead teacher in implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities that promote children's growth and development.
  • Provide nurturing care and support to meet the individual needs of each child, including feeding, diapering, and comforting.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues through open communication, respect, and collaboration.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Observe and document children's progress, interests, and milestones, and communicate with lead teachers and parents/guardians as needed.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and ongoing training to enhance knowledge and skills in early childhood education.

Qualifications:

  • Background check clearance
  • Passion for working with children and supporting their holistic development.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to maintain a safe and supportive learning environment while promoting positive behavior and social-emotional development.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to contribute to a collaborative team environment.
