Job DescriptionJob Description

Job Duties:

  • Operate the Brake Press and other machinery used in the production process, or assist other machine operators.
  • Set up tooling, load programs and set machine parameters to ensure optimal performance of the equipment.
  • Evaluate the condition of tools for forming/bending.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with fast-changing priorities.
  • Keep work area clean and organized.
  • Follow all company rules and policies.
  • Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task.
  • Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with Amada Press Brake machines preferred, but not required.
  • Proven measurement and mathematical fraction/decimal conversion skills.
  • Ability to distinguish material types including Aluminum, Steel and Stainless Steel.
  • Candidate must have a basic understanding of Brake Press operation.
  • Candidate must be able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Candidate must have the ability to read blueprints.
  • Candidate must be able to work in other areas of the shop as needed.
  • Candidate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Work overtime when approved and scheduled by your supervisor.

Experience:

  • At least 1-2 years of proven Brake Press operation.
  • Brake Press set up experience is a MUST

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Degree preferred.
