**Job Description:**

**Responsibilities:**

1. Install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including heating, air conditioning, and ventilation units.
2. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning and replacing filters, checking ducts, and inspecting wiring and mechanisms.
3. Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
4. Repair or replace defective parts in HVAC systems.
5. Test HVAC systems to ensure they are working properly and efficiently.
6. Install and connect thermostats, humidistats, and timers to HVAC systems.
7. Comply with all safety and health regulations.
8. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
9. Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
10. Stay updated on new technologies and techniques in the HVAC field.

**Qualifications:**

1. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in HVAC systems is preferred.
2. Certification or licensure as an HVAC technician (requirements vary by state).
3. Proven experience as an HVAC technician or installer.
4. Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
5. Knowledge of HVAC systems and components.
6. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills.
8. Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
9. Good communication and customer service skills.
10. Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments.
