Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Field Service HVAC Tech Manager to lead our HVAC installation and repair team. This position requires a dynamic individual who can manage field operations, ensure the highest standards of service quality, and drive customer satisfaction.

This position also requires you to act as a primary point of contact for fielding calls from customers. This includes addressing inquiries, scheduling service appointments, and coordinating with technicians to ensure timely and effective response to customer needs. The role involves both receiving incoming calls and making outbound calls for follow-up, ensuring a high level of customer service and satisfaction throughout all interactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage daily operations of the HVAC service team.
  • Ensure all installations and repairs meet or exceed industry standards.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for technicians to enhance their skills.
  • Monitor job performance, provide feedback and performance evaluations to technicians.
  • Coordinate with other departments for seamless service delivery.
  • Manage customer complaints and ensure prompt resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Assist in recruitment and training of new technicians.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the team.
  • Manage inventory of tools and equipment, ensuring they are well-maintained.
  • Prepare and present reports on team performance, service challenges, and other metrics.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC services, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Excellent knowledge of HVAC systems, installation, and repair techniques.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
  • Certification or degree in HVAC technology or related field preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and physical stamina to handle the demands of the job.
