Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a Caregiver to join our team Halo Specialized Home Care is a licensed, Non-Medical Home Care agency serving the Monterey Peninsula and surrounding areas. We specialize in providing the highest quality of care by the most respected and qualified caregivers in our industry.

In this role, you will make a difference in the days of a 98-year-old woman by enhancing her quality of life Responsibilities include assisting with advanced stage dementia, hygiene needs, in-bed brief changes, transfers, ambulation, meal prep, light housekeeping and other tasks that improve her living environment and standards. The ideal candidate is patient, compassionate, experienced, and reliable.
The position's schedule is:

Sunday: 3p - 8p
Monday: 4p - 8p
Wednesday: 4p - 8p
Friday: 4p - 8p
Sat: 3p - 8p


Location: Monterey, CA
Responsibilities 
  • Assist with personal hygiene needs and dressing
  • Assist with walking, physical therapy and cognitive exercises
  • Prepare meals and snacks
  • Light housekeeping activities
  • Medication Reminders
  • Provide companionship
  • Bathroom Assist
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or similar role
  • Experience with advanced stage dementia
  • Experience with changing briefs
  • Knowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skills
  • Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal spills
  • Compassionate, respectful, ethical
