Shift Details:
- Hours: 12-hour shifts, three days per week
- Schedule: 19:00 to 07:30
- Total Weekly Hours: 36 hours
Salary:
- Non-Local Pay Rate: $60.93/hr.
- Taxable Wage: $50.43/hr.
- Per Diem: $10.53/hr.
- Reward: $7.62/hr.
- Local Pay Rate (within 60 miles): $53.07/hr.
- Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in the emergency room.
- Perform patient assessments, triage, and implement appropriate care plans.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and document patient conditions and progress.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and families on medical conditions, treatments, and follow-up care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control standards.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to stay current with emergency nursing best practices.
- Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Licensure: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the state of Massachusetts.
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred.
- Experience: Prior experience in emergency room or critical care nursing preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong clinical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift and move patients and equipment, and perform physical tasks related to patient care.
