You Will Help Our Youth Thrive By:
- Providing direct clinical work and/or therapeutic services to youth and families.
- Providing clinical feedback and work in collaboration with community providers and school teams.
- Provide crisis intervention to youth and families on school campus, in home and in the community.
- Providing case management and linkage to services and resources.
- Compiling with productivity standards of Villages of California and maintains an appropriate caseload to reach the expectation of service hours.
- Submitting timely documentation (progress notes, assessments, treatment plans, notes to chart) as outlined in policy.
- Continually assessing the needs and symptoms of students and families formulating a psychosocial diagnosis, gathering history, and determining the most appropriate method (s) of providing treatment/Evidence-Based Practice (individual, family, group, case management, outreach, etc.).
- Continually assessing client progress and modifies treatment via completion and submission of outcome measures.
- Accurately documenting all work with the client and/or family and/or relevant persons as measured by QA standards and peer review audit results.
- Participating in clinical/case supervision by coming prepared to discuss current caseload, documentation, and productivity; accepts constructive feedback and direction; and puts feedback into clinical and/or therapeutic practice with clients.
- Establishing and maintains rapport and effective working relationships with clients, families, and community; works effectively within the Agency and community at large.
- Maintaining knowledge of program standards and policies as developed by Villages if California, the Board of Behavioral Sciences and other governing bodies; develops personal and professional knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in in-service programs.
- Maintaining overall confidentiality information regarding clients, families, and operations of the Agency (including media).
- Incorporating Agency philosophy and mission in all aspects of job performance.
- Maintaining a professional relationship with clients, staff, and other outside stakeholders at all times.
- Exercising good judgment in the performance of duties and responsibilities.
- Attending all required staff training sessions in accordance with Villages of California and state licensing requirements, completes all training on time.
- Attending and participates in program and all staff meetings.
- Adhering to and promotes the Villages if California Mission, Vision, and Values while acting as a role model for others.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need To Be Successful In This Role:
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or related field.
- Evidenced-Based Trained/Certified in MAP, TF-CBT, SS Preferred.
- Experience with state and county Licensing, and other governing bodies preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office systems and ability to utilize an electronic medical record.
- Proficiency with state and county licensing and other governing bodies.
- Ability to establish and consistently enforce appropriate boundaries with patients.
- Understanding child/adult/adolescent development and family systems.
- Must maintain a valid California Drivers' License, have proof of automobile insurance and maintain a safe driving record based on Villages if California policy
