The Junior Ship Broker will support senior brokers in all aspects of shipbroking, including market research, client interactions, and transaction facilitation.

Junior Ship Broker Responsibilities

• Update vessel position for all vessel sizes.
• Oversee morning reports.
• Stay up to date on market conditions at mid-day and close of business.
• Update clients with the state of the market.
• Assist the Senior Brokers with all daily tasks.
• Assist in finding flat rates.

Junior Ship Broker Position Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Background in the maritime industry.
• Must have tanker experience.
• Fluent in Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
