Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a Per Diem Casual Pharmacist to join our team  As a pharmacist for our Closed-door Long Term Care Pharmacy you will work in an exciting, dynamic and fast paced environment, ensuring the continuation of pharmacy management's goals and objectives within the dispensing pharmacy. Management skills and accuracy are required to ensure that the appropriate drug product reaches the customer efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the pharmacy staff in the processing of prescriptions
  • Prepare medications for home delivery.
  • Verify incoming prescription information
  • Accurately prepare patient prescriptions for dispensing
  • Inventory management
  • Provide patient consultation

Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret documents
  • Accurate typing and computer skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
  • Current Minnesota pharmacist licensure
