Join Our Team as a Utility Worker at Thrift World
Pay $15 per hour
Benefits -PTO, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k plans available, 30% Employee discount
Hours, fulltime 7-3:30 Monday-Friday
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Utility Worker at Thrift World in Carroll, IA. As a utility worker, you will play a crucial role in assisting our team with a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our store.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with receiving and sorting donated items
- Keep the production room clean and organized
- Use the forklift to stack pallets and gaylords
- Assist with loading and unloading items as needed
- Make bales
As a utility worker, you will need to be able to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must. The ability to work well as part of a team is also important.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- Ability to lift and move heavy items, up to 50 pounds
- Excellent communication skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
