Job Summary:

The Business Development Capture Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the capture process for key business opportunities. This role involves developing capture strategies, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring the successful pursuit of new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage complex capture efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the capture process for strategic business opportunities from opportunity identification through proposal submission.
  • Develop and implement capture strategies and plans that align with the company's business objectives.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and identify potential partners and key stakeholders for capture efforts.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams, including business development, proposal, technical, and operational teams, to develop winning solutions.
  • Manage the development of capture-related documentation, including capture plans, win themes, value propositions, and executive summaries.
  • Ensure compliance with all capture and proposal processes, including gate reviews and management approvals.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of capture efforts, providing regular updates to senior management.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and industry contacts to gather intelligence and insights on opportunities and market trends.
  • Lead and mentor capture team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking activities to promote the company's capabilities and identify new business opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Top-Secret security clearance with Polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of [insert years] years of experience in business development, capture management, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of successfully capturing and winning complex business opportunities.
  • Strong understanding of the capture process, including strategy development, competitive analysis, and proposal management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with government contracting and knowledge of FAR/DFAR regulations is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and capture management tools.
  • Certification in capture management (e.g., APMP) is a plus.

 Working Conditions:

  • This position may require occasional travel to client sites, industry events, and company locations.
  • Ability to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed to meet capture deadlines.
