Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Leads Server/Bartender to join our team. This position requires a skilled individual who can confidently manage both serving and bartending responsibilities while providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead by example. Responsibilities:

  1. Lead by Example: Set the standard for excellent customer service by demonstrating professionalism, attentiveness, and friendliness at all times.

  2. Serving: Take orders from patrons, deliver food and beverages promptly, and ensure accuracy in order fulfillment.

  3. Bartending: Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences.

  4. Menu Knowledge: Thoroughly understand the menu offerings, including ingredients, preparation methods, and any specials or promotions.

  5. Upselling: Proactively suggest additional items or upgrades to enhance the dining and drinking experience for patrons.

  6. Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure cleanliness and organization of the bar area, dining tables, and workstations throughout the shift.

  7. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction.

  8. Handle Payments: Accurately process payments, handle cash transactions, and reconcile receipts at the end of each shift.

  9. Compliance: Adhere to all food safety regulations, alcohol serving laws, and company policies regarding responsible beverage service.

  10. Problem Solving: Address customer concerns or complaints promptly and professionally, seeking assistance from management when necessary.

  11. Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring and replenishing bar inventory, including liquor, mixers, garnishes, and other supplies.

  12. Training and Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to new team members, sharing knowledge and best practices for serving and bartending duties.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a server and bartender in a fast-paced restaurant or bar environment.

  • Strong knowledge of beverage preparation techniques, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with customers and colleagues.

  • Proven ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in order taking, drink preparation, and payment processing.

  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the needs of the business.

  • Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS or equivalent) is preferred.
