Position Overview:
NSight365 is seeking a seasoned Enterprise Firewall Engineer Lead with at least 7 years of significant experience in engineering, implementing, and supporting a wide array of enterprise-class network solutions. The ideal candidate will have expert-level support qualifications for Palo Alto firewalls, Microsoft Azure Premium firewalls, and other equivalent systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engineer, implement, and support enterprise-class network solutions.
- Provide expert-level support for physical and virtual Palo Alto-based firewall solutions.
- Manage VMWare backed networks and hosts, including service-inserted firewall solutions and traffic steering algorithms.
- Develop and implement micro-segmentation strategies and flow-based firewalling solutions.
- Conduct user and application-based inspection algorithms.
- Implement advanced layer 3 technologies including routing protocols (e.g., BGP).
- Support various Virtual Private Network (VPN) technologies.
- Lead projects and manage teams to ensure successful deployment of enterprise-class solutions.
- Produce technical documents and engineering diagrams.
- Maintain strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Foster a team-focused environment while implementing zero trust principles and flow-based firewalling techniques.
Required Skills:
- Project lead and management experience.
- Demonstrable history of leading successful deployments of enterprise-class solutions.
- Skilled in producing technical documents and engineering diagrams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Solid understanding of zero trust principles.
- Expertise in flow-based firewalling techniques.
- Expert-level support for Palo Alto firewalls in an enterprise environment.

Certifications:
- AZ-900: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals
- AZ-700: Designing and Implementing Azure Networking
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- Palo Alto Accredited Certification Engineer (ACE)
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of engineering, implementing, and supporting enterprise-class network solutions.
- Expert-level qualifications and hands-on experience with Palo Alto and Microsoft Azure Premium firewalls.
- Experience working with VMWare backed networks and hosts, service-inserted firewall solutions, traffic steering algorithms, micro-segmentation strategies, and flow-based firewalling solutions.
- Advanced understanding of layer 3 technologies and routing protocols, including BGP.
- Experience with various Virtual Private Network (VPN) technologies.
Work Location:
This position allows for maximum telework; however, candidates must be located within a 50-mile radius of Boyers, PA, or Macon, GA, to ensure availability during catastrophic outages.
