Peoplelink Staffing Solutions, in partnership with a Die Casting manufacturer in the Laurens SC area, is seeking Casting Operators to join their team Payrate: $16.00Schedule: 1st Shift 7am-3pm Monday-Friday 2nd Shift 3pm-11pm Monday-Friday3rd Shift 11pm-7am Sunday-Thursday

This position requires the use of customer and internal specifications and working instructions to ensure overall product quality of the organization.
The position’s central role is to perform the last production process step (washing) and the inspection of the components before shipping.
The products under consideration are machined aluminum automotive and industrial components.
Visual and dimensional inspection of product at end of production process
Verification of part quantities, Gauging of parts, verification of defect types
Document review verifying completeness of processes, ensuring all production activities are properly documented and the correct quantities are entered.
Isolates products that are out of specification
Properly identifies substandard product and places product into quality hold area to ensure that the product is not processed in the normal production line and shipped.
Maintain inspection records, production and scrap records.
Move material throughout the plant by utilizing the 5S color code system.
Part inspection and create processes that objectively view the quality of the product.
