Sigan America, LLC is looking for a Production Line Technician to join our team in Ottawa IL.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:

This position is for a mid-level maintenance technician in a production environment. The production maintenance technician 2 performs skilled repairs on simple electrical and mechanical production equipment and systems.

Essential Functions

· Perform basic mechanic tasks including but not limited to troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, pneumatic and simple electrical production machinery.

· Execute equipment failure analysis to perform preventative and unscheduled maintenance

· Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

· Perform basic electrical troubleshooting such as sensors and switches

· Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.

· Comply with safety regulations

· Maintain clean and orderly work area

 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

· This is a full-time position

· Hourly rate is dependent on years of experience

Required Education and Experience

· High school diploma/GED

· 3+ years of manufacturing experience; pneumatic, mechanical, electrical and industrial skills.

· Technical training is a plus

· PLC and HMI experience a plus
