Malvern Glass, an established and growing commercial glazing specialty contractor active on numerous projects throughout the Delaware Valley, is seeking to add a Project Manager to our team. Our ideal candidate would have experience in the glass/architectural metals industry and resides in a 20-mile radius of Malvern. However we would consider someone with significant experience in other specialty trades. Company provides excellent benefits and regular profit sharing bonuses.

General Responsibilities:

  • Review with estimators and thoroughly understand project requirements
  • Develop and execute plan to take project from submittals to close out
  • Oversee and coordinate preparation of shop drawings and submittals in accordance with project schedule
  • Ensure materials are ordered in accordance with project schedule
  • Manage all phases of work on multiple projects
  • Monitor in house fabrication and outside vendor materials for on time delivery
  • Visit job sites weekly for meetings and to review and verify progress and conditions
  • Manage change orders, provide detailed information to estimators for pricing
  • Provide information as needed to accounting department for progress billing
  • Maintain orderly digital and paper files in accordance with company standards
  • Report to engaged senior management ownership

​Qualifications:

  • Must be independent, self-starter
  • Glazing or architectural metals project management experience
  • Able to work well in team environment and build relationships with company staff, general contractors, design professionals, etc
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced skills in reviewing and understanding construction documents and performing take-offs
  • Must embrace technology and be proficient with MS Office Suite, Adobe/Bluebeam, Procore, AutoCAD a plus
  • Ability to identify problems and develop creative solutions
  • Have a valid PA drivers license, be willing to submit to a background check or drug screening if required
