What we need

Freshly Picked is a growing company. We are looking for a strategic thinker to connect the fulfillment operation to help with customer satisfaction and retention and is constantly looking to optimize the fulfillment operations. The manager also leads the order fulfillment process including monitoring incoming orders, batching orders, and shipping orders. This individual oversees the order tracking process and ensures orders are processed in accordance with the company's standard. The Fulfillment Manager ensures adequate inventory supply levels are maintained to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost.

A peek at what you will do:

  • Overseeing daily order fulfillment activities, including order processing, picking, packing, and shipping preparation.
  • Tracking inventory levels to prevent stock-outs and/or deadstock
  • Developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for inventory control, logistics management, and order fulfillment to meet operational goals
  • Preventing inventory shrinkage, accidents, and occupational hazards
  • Optimizing procurement of inventory by improving vendor relationships, performance, and lead times
  • Managing a dynamic team of full-time and part-time warehouse staff, 
  • Maintaining positive and mutually beneficial relationships with vendors, suppliers, manufacturers, and 3PLs (if applicable)
  • Reporting weekly on multiple fulfillment and performance KPIs
Providing data-backed and actionable updates to senior management to improve order fulfillment SLAs and vendor performance

Desired Skills:
  • Proven track record of analytical, interpersonal, leadership, and project management skills
  • Prior experience and familiarity with warehouse operations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, etc.), inventory management systems, and warehouse management systems
  • Detail-oriented
  • Multitasking capabilities
  • Business-level communication skills (oral and written)
  • A strong customer-oriented focus

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of Leadership experience in a fulfillment operation
  • Strong analytical, organization, training, and communication skills
  • Strong spreadsheet skills (Excel, Google Sheets)
  • Bi-lingual Spanish and English speaker preferred

  4. Willingness to be flexible with work time to ensure that all orders get shipped each day and that other fulfillment tasks are accomplished
