Amazing opportunity in the suburbs of Orlando Florida. Comfortably see 22-26 interventional patients per day, 10-15 of which are injections. Florida Pain Care is an outstanding patient focused interventional pain management opportunity. We are looking for a practice grower with regenerative medicine experience but that is not necessary. We are comprehensive and utilize therapy, interventions, DME including knee and back bracing, evidence based supplements(if the patient is interested), and minimal opiate medication. We have a strong wellness focus. Call is by phone. On average, I receive one call every month or two.
I was in your shoes, twice. Finding the right job felt elusive. In medical school and residency there are no courses on getting a job or even understanding all the possibilities for practicing medicine. However, my certainties were a growing mountain of debt and my eagerness to practice medicine and get my first real paycheck in the bank. The first company I joined at the completion of my pain fellowship financially failed after 6 months… why did they recruit me? In my second job, I worked for 10 years. At the start, I focused on honing my medical skills and with time grew my curiosity to understand the business side of medicine: my reimbursements, write-offs, overhead, real estate costs, etc. Of course, the company promised financial transparency to all the partners but when I probed for answers regarding my compensation and that business side of medicine, the numbers simply did not add up and the fiscal truth was buried. These are all mathematical equations that the company should have been equipped to present to any physician that asked. Fortunately for most of these large medical companies, I suspect that most physicians do not make them truly accountable for the accounting because we are all so busy in patient care. The fact that my questions did not result in concrete, clear answers was shocking and alarming. That was the moment I could no longer ignore the writing on the wall. I was making my professors proud by working really hard and making my company proud by making them lots of money. I forgot to mention, during my tenure I built a successful satellite practice for this company and trained multiple new physicians for them at that location resulting in 2 of the highest paid physicians in a company of 70 with a 3rd not far behind and well on his way to moving in the top 5 within a few years. At Florida Pain Care, we want you to be reimbursed fairly and transparently for the value you bring to the practice without feeling stifled in your personal growth.
The opportunity is simple, build a big practice and make the effort to do what is necessary with my proven 7 figure template. My side hustle is real estate and in the end appears to have added more to my net worth than income from my job. That’s because most jobs are W-2 and taxed highly,39.7 %. Again, if you are W-2 you will continue at the upper bracket and that will likely only increase over time. The answer in medicine can no longer be work more to solve this issue. You need a “real plan” to increase your net worth or WHY ARE YOU WORKING HARD. Luckily at Florida Pain Care, I live to tell the tale. This could save you 10 years of time trying to figure this out. I recommend you focus on the end goal and work closely with someone(me), who has already charted the course. Otherwise, you likely will be trapped in a range like I once was. I have been there. I know. Few make it out of that range and ever fewer never actually understand why.
