Job Description:

The role involves performing and documenting maintenance on the MH-139 (AW139) aircraft, troubleshooting and maintaining aircraft structures, systems, and components, and completing daily operations and maintenance tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintains, repairs, and modifies aircraft structures and structural components with moderate difficulty.
  • Applies technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems in resolving equipment malfunctions and restoring equipment condition or operation.
  • Interprets user documentation such as blueprints or manufacturers’ manuals to solve moderate to complex problems.
  • Assembles, disassembles, and/or modifies systems by changing, removing, replacing, or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.
  • Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components, and documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance.
  • Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness requirements, working under general direction

Minimum Requirements:

  • Preferred experience on the MH-139 (Civilian equivalent, AgustaWestland AW139)
  • Educational background equivalent to a High School diploma/GED, coupled with four or more years of related work experience, or a comparable combination of education and experience such as vocational school/associate degree plus two years of related work, bachelor’s degree, etc.
  • At least three years of experience in aerospace structures.
  • Proficiency in using unique aircraft tools, including but not limited to test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, and sheet metal brakes and sheers.
  • Prior experience in MH-139 maintenance and/or modifications.
  • Must possess or have possessed an Airframe and Power plant (A&P) License.

  • Must maintain a US Secret Clearance.
