CLIENT CARE SPECIALIST

We serve more than 450 businesses and organizations throughout Georgia. The Client Care Specialist position serves clients and their employees by assisting them with customer service issues such as billing, claim resolution, enrollments, and changes to coverage.

Assisting clients/employees by serving as liaison with insurance carriers.

  • Contacting insurance carriers directly to bring resolution to issues.
  • Initiate three-way conference calls with clients & carriers as needed to resolve issues.

Assisting clients with claim resolution

  • Assist clients with questions regarding insurance and coverage.
  • Respond to client claim issues within 24 hours of receipt.
  • Answer phone calls, emails and online claim submissions to assist clients.
  • Contact carriers in response to claim issues to bring resolution.
  • Communicate often with client, providing regular updates throughout the claim resolutions process.

Assure that CRM is accurately maintained with service issues

  • Enter service cases in CRM system upon receipt of request, notating during the resolution process and closing service case once resolved. 
  • Update employee counts in database following enrollments or terminations.

Enrollment, Terminations, Qualifying events

  • Process new health insurance enrollments, terminations, or qualifying events promptly and accurately.
  • Communicate with clients to obtain any missing information and ensure a smooth process.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all enrollments, termination, and qualifying event transactions in our CRM system.

Technical Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to understand and solve complex service issues is required to serve in this role.
  • A key requirement of this position is to produce quality work in a timely manner.
  • Excellent phone skills are required in order to communicate with carriers, clients and employees of clients.
  • Strong ability to multitask and establish priorities is a key component of this position.
