You will help oversee operational activities and ensure excellent quality control.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures
  • Unload truck using an electric pallet jack and by hand
  • Safely move product using a Reach Truck
  • Accurately count/pick products to prepare for shipping using a handheld scanner
  • Check output to ensure the highest quality
  • Maintain equipment in good condition
  • Accurately maintain shipping and receiving logs
  • Report on issues, malfunction, or defective parts
  • Oversee and coordinate plant operations and activities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely fashion
  • Load and unload equipment and materials
  • Provide innovative solutions to improve plant efficiency
  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance on the plant
  • Log and record readings for equipment and procedures

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of verifiable Reach Truck experience
  • Ability and willingness to load and unload freight from tucks by hand
  • Good understanding of shipping and receiving principles
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to constantly stand, bend, lift and stoop for an 8-hour shift
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • All candidates must complete a background and drug screening
  • Previous experience in plant operations or other related fields
  • Familiarity with plant tools and equipment
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to handle physical workload
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift up to 30lbs
  • Ability and willingness to work while standing for an 8-hour shift
  • Willing to complete a background and drug screening
  • Schedule: 6:00 AM- 2:30 PM, Monday- Friday, and an occasional Saturday when necessary
  • Semi climate-controlled facility
