Job Overview: Join our dental practice as a Dental Hygienist, where you will play a vital role in promoting oral health and providing top-notch patient care. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual with a passion for dental hygiene to join our team. Duties: - Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to identify oral health issues - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care practices - Perform periodontal assessments and provide treatment recommendations - Take dental x-rays and assist the dentist during procedures - Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix or Epic - Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality - Collaborate with the dental team to deliver comprehensive care and enhance patient experience - Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment Qualifications: - Successful completion of an accredited dental hygiene program - Active state dental hygiene license - Proficiency in dental terminology and procedures - Experience in four-handed dentistry and assisting during dental procedures - Knowledge of CAD/CAM technology for digital impressions is a plus - Familiarity with medical terminology and maintaining medical records - Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with patients - Prior experience with Dentrix software is preferred Join our team as a Dental Hygienist to be part of a collaborative work environment that values professionalism, continuous learning, and patient-centered care.
