Inventory Control Assistant

Our client in Moorpark is looking to add an Inventory Control Assistant to their warehouse team. In this position, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory levels, ensuring efficient warehouse operations, and supporting the overall success of our company. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Location: Moorpark, CA
Salary: $25 - $30 /hr
This is a temp-to-hire position
Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular cycle counts and analyze discrepancies to ensure accurate inventory levels
  • Receive shipments and ensure quantities and conditions meet requirements
  • Prepare outgoing shipments and coordinate with the logistics team for pickups
  • Maintain inventory records and place reorder requests to ensure adequate stock levels
  • Assist the sales team to locate products and provide inventory information
  • Review and find corrections for the catalogs


Skills Required:

  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency with inventory management software and databases
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work accurately under pressure
  • Proficiency with Fishbowl is a must
  • Proficiency and QuickBooks is a plus
