Aegis Worldwide is seeking a Production Supervisor to join a Food Manufacturer in the Chicagoland Area. The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading shift activities. They will be responsible for managing CI projects, R&D new product developments, CAPA (corrective action and preventive action), new hire development, associate accountability, associate performance reviews, audit documentation within batch order requirements, policies and procedures adherence, accident reports, operations efficiencies, and manage associates labor hours.

Responsibilities

 

  • Identify associate and food safety concerns and initiate internal CAPA.
  • Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees
  • Coach and mentor department leads
  • Accident and incident reporting investigation
  • Identify quality issues and initiate external CAPA
  • Create weekly staffing requirements based on the planning schedule.
  • Schedule Changes
  • Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements
  • Communicate any updates to dept. leads daily

Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
    • OR a 2-year associate degree
  • Experience training/ coaching individuals
  • Comfortable leading meetings and delegating tasks
  • Experience being a member of a Safety Committee
  • Active role within GNC Continuous improvement
  • Detail Orientated and results-driven
  • High level of communication
  • Audit Documentation
