Job DescriptionJob Description

To oversee restaurant operations by monitoring employees to provide an exceptional dining experience and increased sales.

 

 Major Responsibilities:

●        Guide team members to meet established objectives in food safety, customers service and sales.

●        Provide professional service to all customers and vendors  

●        Resolve customer complaints and know when to escalate

●        Ensure the integrity of all pos transactions regarding customer orders, employee meal transactions voids and refunds

●        Communicate with other management, hourly employees, and customers, providing positive feedback and promoting a positive image of the restaurant

●        Train, coach and develop other employees

●        Execute opening and closing procedures

●        Monitor inventory levels of food, paper goods and cleaning supplies

●        Oversee shift change and counts down/reconciles cash drawers, deposits and safe drops

●        Comply with all cash handing policies and procedures

●        Maintain a safe and harassment-free work environment

●        Maintain safe working conditions as required by OSHA and federal, state, and local governing bodies

●        Prepare menu items according to recipe guidelines and portioning instructions

●        Monitor labor cost during shifts by adjusting headcount and break schedules

●        Able to perform all positions critical to operations

 

Requirements:

●        A High School Diploma or Equivalent Education 

●        1-year minimum supervisory experience

●        Good oral and written communication skills

●        Able to lead employees in entry-level positions  

●        Able to work with minimal supervision and determine task priorities

 

Additional Requirements:

●        Must be able to frequently stand, walk, view computer monitors, bend, squat, reach above shoulder level, and discern color.

●        Must be able to lift/carry up to 20 lbs.; occasionally lift/carry up to 40 lbs.

●        Must be able to tolerate exposure to extreme temperatures and temperature changes

●        Must report to work in a neat, clean uniform, which includes (Tops Shirt, Dark Pants, Non-Slip Shoes); and present a well-groomed, hygienic appearance.

●        Must complete certification on the Lead Validation Checklist, by the Store Manager within 30 days of hire and/or promotion.
