Second Hand Motors has been a family owned and operated auto dealership located in Garland, Texas for the last 31 years. We are looking for a talented and versatile individual. This person will be able to communicate well both in-person and over the phone. This is a perfect entry level position for any person that is looking to get started in the car industry and doesn't want to just be another number somewhere. Having an interest in cars and a genuine curiosity in how they work is paramount in success at this role.

In this position, you will be responsible for the outside aesthetic, vehicle make ready and quality control. You will also be sourcing parts and coordinating vehicle fixes with mechanics, body shops, tire shops, and forming meaningful relationships with each.
Responsibilities include:
1. Be Responsible for the look and feel of the Dealership, park vehicles, decorate, and encourage traffic and sales through our Lot
2. Quality control and vehicle make ready: When we buy a vehicle and it shows up on the lot you will take that vehicle through multiple stages until it is ready to be sold on the front line.
3. Secondary responsibilities would include helping around the dealership where needed. You will be responsible for filling in any role and position when possible, we are a small operation so the potential to learn skills in customer service and sales are very likely.
Qualifications:
1. Bilingual is a must. Spanish and English are most desirable for this area and position
2. Organized, focused and creative with the ability to work Monday through Saturday
3. Be able to be outside during summer and winter weather
4. Effective communicator, both written and oral
5. Self-motivated, great organizational skills, detail-oriented, ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines
