Responsibilities:
- Embrace and promote a customer service philosophy focused on excellence
- Consistently exceed customer expectations in a professional manner
- Adhere to all established company policies and procedures
- Assist customers in identifying parts
- Handle phone calls, emails, and faxes related to Parts Source customer orders. Enter these orders into system and manage all aspects of the order entry process, including checking delivery dates and processing credit card transactions
- Provide support for customer inquiries and concerns related to parts, such as backorders, overnight shipments, and return goods authorizations
- Interpret customers' needs based on part descriptions
- Resolve customer requests or seek assistance when needed
- Assist outside sales representatives with customer issues and problems
- Maintain positive working relationships with coworkers and the customer base
- Work rotating shifts between 8 am and 8 pm
- Handle a high volume of phone calls daily
- Remain professional and courteous during all phone interactions
- Some travel may be required
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the parts supply industry preferred, especially with motor coaches, cars, trucks, or commercial heavy vehicles
- Minimum of one year of proven experience as an administrative assistant
- Working knowledge of current automated business systems, preferably Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, or similar programs and applications
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
