Tender Care Home Health & Hospice currently has excellent career opportunities for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide individualized, goal-directed care
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Job Duties (include, but are not limited to the following):
- Assists with ongoing evaluation of the patient referred to Occupational Therapy by a physician.
- Implements rehabilitative treatment programs for patients according to the physician's order and plan of treatment established.
- Coordinates treatment plans with the supervising occupational therapist and other agencies.
- Occupational Therapy assistant will also coordinate patient care with the physician, management, and the multidisciplinary teams.
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Qualifications:
- Current state license to practice in New Mexico as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
- Good organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Must have reliable transportation, current driver's license, and auto liability insurance.
- Must have a current CPR certification
