We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Master Electrician. We offer the following benefits:

Job Summary:

The Licensed Electrician is a highly skilled and experienced professional who is responsible for designing, installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and components. This includes working with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, designing and implementing electrical solutions, and ensuring that the systems meet safety and performance standards.

The Licensed Electrician will also be responsible for providing technical guidance and training to junior electricians and engineers and serving as the lead on projects.  This position is an  experienced professional who is responsible for the installation and repair of electrical systems and components. This position tests, troubleshoots, and replaces electrical components to ensure systems function safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate installation, repair, and service of electric and electronic components.
  • Provides the highest level of customer service.
  • Trains and supervises journeymen and apprentices on your team.
  • Install, maintain, and repair existing equipment.
  • Inspects electrical equipment, troubleshoots malfunctions, and determines repairs needed.
  • Identify materials and quantities needed for new and repair projects.
  • Evaluate and estimate the cost of electrical work.
  • Diagnose complex electrical issues and implement solutions.
  • Coordinates with departments to ensure the right materials and equipment are available when needed
  • Follow established processes and procedures.
  • Follows all safety guidelines related to operating and maintenance of high-voltage equipment.
  • Leads projects and oversees the work of other electricians.
  • Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Other unlisted duties as assigned by supervisor in relation to your position.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong understanding of electrical safety standards
  • Strong understanding of circuit design and analysis
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Proficient in using electrical test equipment and tools
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and technical diagrams
  • A state or local Master Electrician certification for GA, NC and TN; or certification ready
  • Experience in a similar industry is a plus
  • Experience with project management and leading teams
  • Experience with industrial electrical systems is a plus
  • Experience with power systems is a plus
  • Experience with PLC programming is a plus
  • Experience with power tools and other construction equipment
