PrideStaff is currently seeking a Compounding Operator for a manufacturing company located in Ontario, CA. This is a full-time, contract to permanent position with opportunity to grow. Please see job requirements below to be considered.

• Pay Rate: $17.00 to $17.50 hourly to start  
• Shift: Monday - Thursday 5:00am to 3:30pm, (4/10 Schedule)

Required:

• Able to thrive in a team-based working environment.
• Able to work around chemical manufacturing environment – strong odors, potential exposure to chemicals, potential exposure to fiberglass.
• Able to multi-task with time-sensitive manufacturing processes (i.e. Capable of learning and performing 4 or more unique procedures in manufacturing process)
• Able to learn and retain instructions for manufacturing procedures
  • Examples:
    • Adding ingredients to production batch
    • Properly cleaning a pump.
    • Assemble and dissemble production lines
    • Operating overhead cranes
• Able to independently perform necessary tasks part of the manufacturing process in said team-based environment
• Can openly communicate with team and management observations and concerns of on-the-job issues
• Must follow and conform to safety protocols of the manufacturing area.
• Able to use and operate a weight scale.

Preferred:

• Quality Assurance- minded individual a plus with a keen sense for noticing and notifying when measurements and procedures are not in compliance.
• Can read, write, and understand proper way of conveying numbers to documents.
• Understands and is aware of the concept of range specifications in the Quality Assurance sense.
• Willing to learn and understand unique tools used in the manufacturing process.
• Can keep a tidy work area; a 5s mentality work approach.
• Potentially able to learn unique manufacturing computer program
• Forklift experience a plus.
• Must be able to speak English, but bilingual Spanish preferred.
