COMPETITIVE PAY BASED ON EXERIENCE AND SKILLS

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience with:

  • Advanced experience with PLC (e.g., industrial maintenance, computer control systems, etc.).
  • PLC programming Allen Bradley, Automation Direct, etc.
  • Electrical systems (installation, frequency drive, troubleshooting)
  • Schematics (e.g., electrical blueprints with switches, starters, maps, relays).
  • Troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns (pinpointing and fixing breakdowns , etc.)
  • HMI Programming.
  • Pumps (e.g., troubleshooting, replacing seals/motors, understanding specs).
  • Electronics (e.g., level probes, flow meters, drives/VFDs, etc.).
  • Gearing and gear boxes (rebuilds, ordering parts, machining parts).
  • Reading mechanical drawings (e.g., hydraulics, pneumatics).
  • Analog control, Transducers/4-20ma-0-10vdc applications.
  • Ability to use multi-meters.
  • Knowledge of relays, solid state relays, etc..
  • Knowledge in electrical distribution systems, 480VAC.
  • Understand solenoid valve concepts, center port, on/off etc.
  • Knowledge of communications protocols, RS485, RS232, ethernet, etc.
  • Understand Safety interface devices, Relays, Light curtains, etc.
  • Electrical Motor Theory & Control VFD’s, overloads protection, etc.
  • Microsoft software platforms, Excel, Word, etc.
  • Ability to troubleshoot machinery without electrical drawings.
  • Kinematics (e.g., line speed/sprocket size ratios, etc.).
  • Pneumatics/air compression (e.g., valves, solenoids, cylinders, motor brakes, reading, troubleshooting).
  • Must be able & willing to perform tasks other than electrical/controls

Helpful

  • Own tool box and tools is helpful but not required.
  • AutoCAD Software
  • Mechanical aptitude, gearbox’s, chain & sprocket, etc.
  • 5 plus years in Automation field.
  • Experience with extrusion blow molding, one-step molding, reheat & blow (or blow molding of any sort) or injection molding processes and equipment is helpful but not required.
  • Experience with plastic extrusion, blow molding, or injection molding to level of making mold changes and set-ups is helpful
