Inpatient Pharmacist

RPh on the Go, a leading staffing agency for pharmacy professionals, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Inpatient Pharmacist for a 13-week contract position in Winamac, Indiana. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, providing essential pharmaceutical care to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and verify physician orders for accuracy and appropriateness.
• Prepare and dispense medications, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards.
• Provide drug information and education to healthcare staff and patients.
• Monitor patient medication therapy and make recommendations for therapy adjustments.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Perform clinical pharmacy activities, including medication reconciliation and therapeutic drug monitoring.

Shift:

• Monday - Friday: 7:00am - 5:00pm
• Rotating weekends
• On-Call

Requirements:

• Inpatient hospital experience.
• CPSI order entry (will train)
• OmniCell automation (will train)
• INpharmacist license.
