Job DescriptionJob DescriptionQLM is now seeking commercial Foreman electricians in Sarasota, FL for long term Health care projects.
Responsibilities
  • The Electrical Foreman is responsible for providing on-site direction and leadership for workers in order to complete jobs within specific guidelines that include quality standards, time requirements, and budget considerations
  • Ability to estimate materials and labor costs
  • Skill in the use and care of all hand and shop tools and equipment of the electrician's trade
  • Other job duties include managing a team, evaluating employees' progress, training new team members, attending meetings, identifying conflicts, and resolving problems are all personnel responsibilities that an electrical foreman may have
  • Other work responsibilities often include organizing and planning a construction project, directing work, inspecting installations for quality, making sure code standards are met, and ensuring job safet



Qualifications
  • Health care experience is a plus but not required
  • We need a strong leader
  • Thorough knowledge of the practices, methods, equipment, materials, and tools of the electrical trade
  • Thorough knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the work
  • Ability to supervise the work of skilled workers
  • Considerable knowledge of the National Electrical Code for electrical installations
  • Ability to interpret and work from instructions, penciled plans and sketches, and blue prints
  • Ability to communicate and coordinate with superiors and subordinates
