Electrical CAD Drafter

Position Overview: We are seeking a talented Electrical CAD Drafter to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in recreating existing drawings to meet customer specifications. This position requires the ability to read blueprints, follow instructions meticulously, and ensure accuracy in electrical designs.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret customer requirements and translate them into detailed electrical drawings.
• Use AutoCAD and Engineering Base software to create and modify electrical schematics and panel layouts.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet technical specifications and safety standards.
• Review and analyze electrical blueprints for errors or inconsistencies.
• Maintain organized documentation and files for each project.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients to address any design-related queries or concerns.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Engineering Base software (or similar).
• Experience working with electrical drawings and blueprints.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and translate them into accurate designs.
• Previous experience in a panel shop or similar environment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to identify errors on electrical drawings and propose solutions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
