```Job Overview```
At Little Lamplight Child Care at International Christian Church, we are committed to providing Christian-based childcare and learning activities that foster life-long learners and lovers of Christ. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher Assistant to join our team. As a Teacher Assistant, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of young children and preparing them for their educational journey. If you have a love for working with children and a love for Jesus, we encourage you to apply.

```Duties```
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
- Implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
- Supervise and engage children in play and learning activities
- Maintain a clean and organized childcare space
- Monitor children's behavior and intervene when necessary
- Communicate with parents about their child's progress and any concerns
- Follow all health and safety guidelines

```Experience```
- Previous experience in childcare or related field is preferred
- Familiarity with first aid procedures and CPR certification is a plus
- Experience working with students in a classroom or daycare setting is beneficial
- Knowledge of classroom management techniques
- Understanding of child development principles and practices
- Experience working with infants, toddlers, pre-k, and/or elementary students and providing age-appropriate care and education
- Background in special education is an asset

- Strong caregiving skills, including patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with children
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for children of diverse backgrounds
- Organizational skills to plan activities, manage time effectively, and maintain records
