Job DescriptionJob Description

The position is responsible for quality assurance of components and materials by conducting physical testing, planning, and ensuring efficient production runs. The role requires maintaining industry standards, ensuring safety, managing lab supplies, supporting procedural development, operating lab equipment, and troubleshooting issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to industry standards and OSHA regulations.
  • Handle and secure lab data and documentation.
  • Order lab supplies and assist in test fixture design.
  • Set up and operate lab equipment, including MTS Flex Test software.
  • Conduct and monitor tests, document results, and communicate with engineers.
  • Maintain lab cleanliness and ensure proper data storage.
  • Support IATF 16949 and ISO 17025 procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of automotive testing experience.
  • Advanced computer skills, with CAD experience preferred.
  • Minimum OSHA 10 Certification.
  • Strong understanding of automotive industry specifications.
  • Skills in problem-solving, decision-making, time management, and communication.
