Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in land surveying
- Valid driver's license (Preferred)
- Basic math competency
- Ability to perform hard, manual labor in outdoor environments
- Must be physically capable of working long hours and carrying heavy loads
- Attendance, punctuality, and reliability are essential
- Experience with construction layout is a must
Responsibilities:
- Perform hard, manual labor to assist in land surveying activities
- Cut and remove brush/tree limbs for line of sight using a machete
- Dig ground using hand tools to search for and locate survey monuments
- Hold and plum rod to obtain elevations and distances
- Drive stakes to set grades on construction projects
- Adhere to safe working/operating methods with assigned tools and equipment
- Other duties as assigned
