General Responsibilities:
- Perform development of conceptual through detailed cost estimates, including change orders.
- Review cost estimates for quality and completeness before submission to projects.
- Support in development and maintenance of cost estimating database.
- Ensure that all project data is properly stored and retrievable.
- Train junior staff in cost estimating.
- Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.
Skills:
- 8 years of relevant work experience in engineering or construction.
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Develop project and construction estimates, schedules, and costs.
- Is familiar with cost escalation, orders of magnitude, cost of materials, and labor rates.
