Jois Contruction Management, Inc. is professional Construction Management Company in business for over 38 years. We have openings for Senior Construction Cost Estimator in the Washington, DC area.

General Responsibilities:

  • Perform development of conceptual through detailed cost estimates, including change orders.
  • Review cost estimates for quality and completeness before submission to projects.
  • Support in development and maintenance of cost estimating database.
  • Ensure that all project data is properly stored and retrievable.
  • Train junior staff in cost estimating.
  • Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.

Skills:

  • 8 years of relevant work experience in engineering or construction.
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Develop project and construction estimates, schedules, and costs.
  • Is familiar with cost escalation, orders of magnitude, cost of materials, and labor rates.
  • Transit
