The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in maintaining and repairing various types of machinery, including farm machinery, industrial equipment, and hydraulic systems.
Position Overview: As a Mechanic at Sage Hill NW, you will be responsible for performing a wide array of tasks, from diagnosing electrical faults to fabricating new hydraulic components. We are looking for a motivated individual who thrives in a varied work environment and embraces new challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repairs on farm machinery, industrial equipment, and hydraulic presses.
- Diagnose mechanical issues utilizing schematics and diagnostic tools.
- Employ hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to repair and replace components.
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify worn or damaged parts.
- Repair and replace components such as shocks, struts, hydraulics, and other mechanical systems.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of mechanical experience with a diverse range of equipment.
- Proficiency in understanding and using electrical schematics for problem diagnosis.
- Experience working with high-pressure hydraulics.
- Welding and fabrication skills are a plus.
- Spanish-speaking skills are an advantage.
- Possess your own set of general tools (specialty tools will be provided).
Work Schedule & Compensation:
- Flexible scheduling options available; shifts can be from 5 AM to 3 PM or 8 AM to 6 PM.
- Overtime opportunities for hours beyond 40 per week, with an average of 10 hours of overtime available weekly, increasing to up to 30 hours during peak seasons.
