The OPEN MINDS Consultant is responsible for providing research and analytic support to the consulting staff of OPEN MINDS. Work entails information gathering, analysis and writing of complex reports and preparation of materials for seminars and briefings or for special OPEN MINDS reports and documents. Work will also entail interaction with potential and actual consulting clients in the office or on-site at the client office(s).

Requirements:

I. Responsibilities of the Consultant include:

A. Support the production of on-time, high-quality client deliverables and proposals:

1. Assist with the creation of surveys and discussion guides to obtain data for both internal and client deliverables.
2. Assist with the collection of data by conducting phone and in-person interviews, mailings, and media research.
3. Assist with management and analysis of research data sets, and prepares findings for reports for both internal use and client deliverables.
4. Assist with the production of all OPEN MINDS research and consulting practice deliverables and proposals including editing, formatting, physical production, and delivery.

B. Support the coordination of client projects:

1. Update the workplans of client projects on a weekly basis.
2. Other duties as assigned.
